IS LOCATED ON 20 ACRES  in Kern County, California.

Yellow wildflowers welcome the springtime with a rolling yellow carpet entry way. 

Down the paths and on the way to the barn and round pen .......

 

Because Akitas & Shibas are highly dog aggressive towards all other dogs of the same sex and cannot all be out together, we make sure that they have separate living facilities and are only out in pairs of one male and one female. Our Akitas  & Shibas have more than enough room, when they are not out exercising on the acreage with us, in this 6 stall horse barn with attached exercise yards.  We have also added a, fully roofed, 5' X 20'  canine housing facility. We understand that there may be others with differing opinions on the dog aggression issue but our beliefs are that you cannot change centuries of breeding. 

 

We keep a clean and natural environment for all our farm animals and canine family members. Our Borzoi, for example, share a 1000 square foot round pen which keeps them safe from all the wildlife but still allows them space when they are not out on the land with us.

Winter time is definitely our "Nordic" breed's favorite time of year here.
