Double Take Ranch, is

DOUBLE TAKE RANCH

Facilities page.

Welcome to our little neck of the woods.

We are now on  20 ACRES  in Kern County, California.

Check out OUR....."PRIVATE" HOBBY FARM  AND PEOPLE RETREAT, below.

ALMOST HOME.

Wildflowers welcome the springtime with a rolling, "Kaleidoscope of color", carpet entry way.

Below, is my husband who is always there for me, for all the projects and for every darn

"shot schedule".

The wilderness and the wildflowers would not be so bright without you.

Our country cottage.

Down the paths and on the way to the barn and animal areas .......

We keep a clean and natural environment for all our farm animals and canine family members. This 1000 sq. ft. round pen, for example, has been transformed into a "romper room" type animal play yard, for our moms and babies. It has cement borders, a shady, secure playhouse  and patio, with a pea gravel center, which allows for "safe", clean, manageable, playtime, in a vast area.

Below, is a peaceful moment ... or two, in the quiet of winter.

Below, the squirrels spring into action for the first seeds from the feeders.

Here kitty, kitty.....

Our neighborhood bobcat pauses for a photo op.

A "Golden Eagle" fledgling patiently awaits another offering from it's doting parents.

.... and then,  the area waterfalls begin for Springtime Cleansing

Below, is a shot of one of our fenced and crossed fenced animal exercise areas.

Emi, below, monitoring the construction of our new outside BBQ facilities and waiting for any leftovers, while she's at it.

The finished product.

Cool and the gang, waiting to help with grooming chores and with any stray birds that might show up for  extra fur to line their nests.

Thanks for visiting.
